Hi, I followed you over here from ftm. My brother is in the Navy (as have been all the men of my family) and he went to Bangkok (I'm assuming that's what you're talking about) and told me a bunch of crazy stories. My guess is that if the behavior of your friends at the titty bar made you uncomfortable, they'll probably act about a thousand times worse in Bangkok because that bar would be kiddie playland in comparison with some of the stuff that goes on there. Not that all of Bangkok is like that but the places Navy guys like to go ARE.

I'm sorry your colleagues pick on you, that's crap. It's very Navy though, from what I understand. They seem to have a culture where they look for what bothers you and then harp on it in an effort to make you "tougher".

To be clear, I'm not knocking the Navy, it's a good branch of the service. I just wish some things would change. They do seem to be cracking down on alcohol abuse lately, which is good.
